EN • As we experiencing a heatwave in Germany I enjoy to spend most of the time outside. Often when I get ready to meet my friends at the lake or to grab food in the city I wear an outfit that features a hat. Couple of days ago I went out to shoot these pictures in a sunflower field (find a full guide about taking pictures in a flower field here). This time I got lucky that I found one that was still in bloom, gosh time flies! But now let’s talk about the best summer hats to wear in 2020.

DE • Mit der aktuellen Hitzewelle ist der Sommer definitiv in Deutschland angekommen. Obwohl es super heiß ist, genieße ich es, viel Zeit draußen zu verbringen. Egal ob ich meine Freunde am See oder auf einen Kaffee in der Stadt treffe, meine Sommeroutfits werden oft durch einen Hut abgerundet. Vor ein paar Tagen war ich zum Bilder machen im Sonnenblumenfeld unterwegs (mehr Tipps zum Thema Foto Shooting in einem Blumenfeld gibt es in diesem Post)  Ich hatte Glück, ein Feld zu finden, das noch nicht abgeblüht war! The classic straw hat

EN • We’ve seen the classic straw hat with the black band almost every summer throughout the years. However I noticed that back in the days the version with the small brim was famous but in recent years bigger prims are trending.

DE • Der gute klassische Strohhut mit dem schwarzen Band wie man ihn kennt wird nie alt. Wobei ich anmerken muss, dass vor einigen Jahren die Version mit kleiner Krempe eher im Trend lag. In den vergangenen Jahren ging der Trend dann wieder zu großen Hüten.

EN • This newly discovered shape is a rather elegant version of a bucket hat like the one I wore in this blog post. Lovely right? I’ve seen this shape in all different sizes now and just LOVE LOVE LOVE it! No matter if you wear it with an elegant black look in the city or a bikini while tanning at the beach – this hat is a show-stopper !

DE • Der Hut mit der gebogenen Krempe wie ich ihn in diesem Post getragen habe, gehört für mich auch definitiv auf die Liste der besten Hüte für 2020. Ich habe diese Form nun schon in vielen Farben und Formen gesehen und LIEBE LIEBE LIEBE sie einfach. Egal ob man ihn zu einem klassischen Outfit für die Stadt oder einem Bikini am Strand kombiniert, der wird auf jeden Fall die Blicke auf sich ziehen!

The all time favourite Fedora

EN • You might say that the fedora is not necessarily a summer hat. With its rather heavy material the fedora is also perfect for  autumn or winter looks. Nevertheless, there are so so many stylish fedora summer outfits as the ones I found on here on Pinterest. My favourite idea to style a fedora: a light dress, boots and this hat.

DE • Ok, man könnte behaupten, dass der Fedora nicht gerade ein klassischer Sommerhut ist. Mit dem eher dicken Material eignet er sich auch gut für Herbst und Winteroutfits. Trotzdem gibt es auch so so viele schöne Sommeroutfits mit einem Fedora, wie die hier auf Pinterest. Mein Lieblingslook: ein leichtes Kleid, Stiefel und dieser Hut.

EN • No worries I did not forget about the popular shop the look widget. On this day in the fields I wore a super light animal print shorts, paired with a white light boho blouse and my favourite shoes (no joke I purchased the same shoes 3 times now as I keep destroying them but can’t live without them)

DE • Keine Sorge, ich habe das beliebte “Shop the Look” Feature nicht vergessen! An diesem Tag im Sonnenblumenfeld habe ich eine leichte Leoprint shorts, eine Bohr-Bluse und meine Lieblings-Sneakers getragen. (Kein Witz, ich habe diese Schuhe schon 3x neu gekauft, weil sie super empfindlich sind ich aber dennoch kaum ohne sie leben kann, haha)
