Let’s celebrate love

DE • Nun sind es nur noch 9 Tage bis zum Valentinstag. Ich feiere den Tag der Liebe sehr gerne, egal ob ich ihn mit einem Partner oder Freundinnen verbringe. Das besondere am Valentinstag ist, das Alles im Zeichen der Liebe steht. Aber was zieht man am Besten an, wenn man ein Date hat? Und worauf sollte man sonst so achten? In diesem Post möchte ich Dinge mit euch teilen, die ich beachte wenn ich mich für ein Date fertig mache.

EN • The countdown is on: There are only 9 days left until Valentine’s day. I value most about Valentine’s day that you take time for each other, plan something such as a date night out or simply give it some thought in advance. I personally think that we should do this more often. When, if not on Valentine’s day? Before you go and enjoy Valentines day, I want to share some things I consider when getting ready for a date night.

What to wear

EN • Honestly, I advice you to wear at least one of your absolute favourite pieces. Maybe you have a favourite pair of denims or a handbag you absolutely love. Personally I like to wear reddish or light pink tones on a date. I feel that those colours stand for femininity. When creating your look for the Valentine’s night out, just take you absolute favourite piece and build an outfit around it. I made the experience, that you appear best in the apparel you feel comfortable and confident with.

DE • Ehrlich gesagt kann ich euch nur raten, auf ein Date genau das anzuziehen, womit ihr euch wohl fühlt. Ich trage zum Beispiel gerne Rot- und Rosattöne, weil sie sehr feminin wirken. Aber wenn ihr eine Lieblingsjeans oder eine Lieblingstasche habt, dann nehmt auf jeden Fall dieses Teil und baut den Rest des Outfits darauf auf. Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass Dates viel mehr Spaß machen, wenn man genau das trägt womit man sich perfekt und selbstsicher fühlt.

The perfect fragrance

I recently discovered the fragrance “Oui à l’Amour” from Yves Rocher for Valentine’s day and absolutely love it. The fragrance features angelica and rose in the top note, merges with tonka and cedar in the base to a fresh but feminine fragrance.
