EN • Couple of months ago when I opened this category I promised that I would take you with me on my blogger journey. The plan was to share some bits and pieces of things I do (on a daily basis) as a blogger. Today I want to let you in on what I do after I published a blog post.

EN • To www.meetmiri.com is Instagram a major source of traffic. It is the place to connect on a daily basis. Every time when I publish a new post, I also mention this in an Instagram post, share it in stories and build communication around it.

Every time I share a new blog post, there is always an automatic Facebook post published. Sometimes I also share it to blogger groups via facebook such as Bloggers World, Reward Style Blogger or Blogger Netzwerk.

Connect with fellow bloggers
EN • Last but not least: connecting with other bloggers is essential to keep your blog in busy. Blogging is not an individual sport, to some extend it’s a group game. It’s a social thin! I really enjoy to read other blogs and to share my thoughts underneath someone’s post. That way I like to build meaningful connections. Sometimes you get to know fellow bloggers over years and follow their journey. To me that’s an amazing side effect of blogging.
DE • Schlussendlich bleibt zu erwähnen, dass es wichtig ist, Kontakt zu anderen Bloggern zu haben. Für mich ist Bloggen kein Einzelsport sondern vielmehr ein “Gruppensport”. Man lernt sich in der community einfach kennen, liest die Beiträge von anderen Bloggern und kommentiert. So kann man über Jahre hinweg Kontakte pflegen und vereinzelt sogar Freundschaften aufbauen. Das ist für mich eines der schönsten Nebeneffekte des Bloggens.

Some really great tips here! I agree 100% with Pinterest being a great place to get people to go to your posts. I’ve found that doing comment threads on twitter really help too. Sometimes it just takes a while for a post to take off though, doesn’t it? So, weeks later you will see a post doing really well.

I still feel like blogger is the thing that I enjoy the most and despite there are many social media channels… they go and appear but in the end it is important to don’t put all the eggs in one single basket and a website will always be yours. Despite that I’d say a blog-website is the only place where you can get 100% creative.
I’m totally using all of your tips (except for TikTok since I don’t have one), but it is crucial to connect with bloggers and maybe extend the life of your blog post as much as possible. For example I create clues of the next blog post in sketches on IG stories.

Such amazing tips here. I didn’t know that there are existing groups to pin your posts on pinterest. It’s g genius, I just started to pin one or two of my pictures from the blog and insta as I saw many people using my pictures without tagging me, so now that they are linked. But connecting with other bloggers and your community is one of the most important strategies to create buzz and a lovely community I think. Where I am lacking in, but I will change that.
