EN • Due to the cold temperatures we often tend to grab the cosiest pieces in our wardrobe. And there is nothing wrong with that. However there are SO many fun outfits you can create in the winter season. It would be a pity to always go with the easy option. All these different types of boots, sweaters, coats and accessories are fun to combine. Here is a fun yet chic outfit I wore recently – lets have a closer look at the pieces I combined.

DE • Aufgrund der kalten Temperaturen greife ich im Winter oft einfach nach der bequemsten und unkompliziertesten Outfits. Und daran ist auch absolut nichts auszusetzen. Trotzdem wäre es einfach eine Schande, nicht ab und zu mal ein etwas ausgefalleneres Outfit zu tragen. All die schönen Stiefel, Pullover, Mäntel und Winter Accessoires wollen schließlich classy kombiniert werden.

1 add a little crazy

EN • Boldness is the key! And wearing a feather piece is definitely a bold statement. I simply love this trend. The way the feathers move adds a simple and very feminine aesthetic to the whole outfit. Fun fact: The day I wore this outfit I went to the Barcelona harbour. A seagull almost attacked me but I got away. I’m still wondering if it did think I was her mom?

DE • Normal war gestern! Heute gibt es Federn. Ich finde den Trend mit Federn einfach wunderschön. Der Schwung in den Federn wenn man sich bewegt wirkt einfach ästhetisch und sehr classy. Eine kleine Anekdote für zwischendurch: An dem Tag, an dem ich diese Bluse anhatte, hat mich am Hafen hier in Barcelona eine Möwe beinahe angegriffen. Ich frage mich immer noch, ob die mich wohl für ihre Mama gehalten hat?

2 Wear over the knee boots

EN • Over the knee boots belong to my absolute favourite pieces of my winter wardrobe. I simply love that there are so many ways to combine them. Also I have the feeling that they always add a little optical length and make you look taller.

DE • Ich finde Outfits mit Overknees einfach immer wunderschön. Deshalb gehören sie zu meinen absoluten Lieblingskleiderstücken für den Winter. Außerdem habe ich immer das Gefühl, dass sie die Beine länger aussehen lassen.

3 Can’t go wrong with a beige coat

EN • Nope, you can’t. Beige is a a classic color per sé and this coat goes with so many outfits. It perfectly compliments a classic black and white winter outfit and if you aim for creating a light winter look without black, this coat is your friend.

DE • Mit einem beigen Coat kann man wirklich nie falsch liegen. Sie sehen einfach immer elegant aus und heben sich von der sonst meist dunklen Winterkleidung ab. Ich trage im Winter gerne auch ab und zu mal ein Outfit ganz ohne Schwarz und da kommt dieser Mantel meistens in Spiel.

4 Give tartan a go

EN • This pattern is so versatile and (also) super classy. We’ve seen it in many winter collections of Haute Couture Brands. Here I wear a classic black and white tartan skirt and last year (do you remember?) I wore a more bold version of this pattern during my stay in Paris.

DE • Dieses Muster ist so unglaublich vielseitig und (auch) sehr elegant. Ich sehe dieses Muster irgendwie jeden Winter, unter anderem auch oft in Kollektionen der Haute Couture Marken. Dabei kann ich mich wirklich nicht daran satt sehen, denn es gibt so viele Möglichkeiten es zu kombinieren. Hier trage ich eine klassische Schwarz-Weiß Variante und letzten Winter (ich hoffe ihr erinnert euch) habe ich eine etwas auffälligere Version während meines Aufenthaltes in Paris getragen.
