EN • This look comes fresh from Paris – I had an amazing time there and was able to shoot some of my favourite looks. Among them is definitely this blazer and belt combination. So this post is all about finding the perfect blazer and picking the right belt for it.

Darunter befindet sich zur Zeit definitiv die Blazer-Gürtel-Kombination. In diesem Post zeige ich euch meine aktuellen Favoriten und passende Gürtel dazu.
1. Find the perfect blazer
EN • When wearing this look I figured that long blazers are my go-to. I really do not like to combine short blazers and belts. That just does not feel right for me. In the slider below I featured my favourite long blazers.
DE • Ich habe heraus gefunden, dass für mich die Blazer und Gürtel Kombi nur mit einem langen Blazer funktioniert. Alles andere sieht irgendwie einfach nicht gut an mir aus. Hier findet ihr eine Sammlung meiner aktuellen Lieblingsblazer.
2. Pick a matching belt
EN • When it comes to belts I have the opinion that it should have a color that appears in the outfit again. In this case I repeated the black of my patent leather pants and my hunter boots. As I am currently into statement belts, I chose a striking one with a big golden buckle but I also like to wear blazers with smaller belts.
DE • Ich finde, dass Outfits immer besonders stimmig aussehen, wenn die Farbe des Gürtels irgendwo anders auch schon einmal vorhanden ist. In diesem Fall wiederholt der schwarze Gürtel die Farbe der Lackhose und der Gummistiefel. Da ich im Moment gerne große, auffällig Gürtel trage, habe ich einen breiten Gürtel mit einer großen, goldenen Schnalle gewählt. Aber auch schmale Gürtel können sehr gut mit einem Blazer aussehen.

04/08/2021I’m very late to the party ! But thinking of trying a blazer with belt look. My question was : what do you do with the belt when you open the blazer or take it off ?

04/08/2021Hey Lauren, that’s a valid question! Since I was wearing a loose blouse underneath I would just wear the belt over the blouse. Second option: let it disappear in your handbag 😉
