EN • Spring has sprung and with it came the nice weather! Of course, we want to spend all our free time in the sun. While I was busy making plans for the next weeks, it got me thinking which pieces I wear most in spring and why. The weather in this season can be tricky and you have to be prepared for everything, warm temperatures, sudden changes in the weather, wind and unexpected rain showers. So here are the 5 things I don’t want to miss in my spring wardrobe.
DE • Jetzt ist es schon wieder April und das Wetter wird immer wärmer. Natürlich wollen wir am liebsten unsere ganze Freizeit in der Sonne verbringen! Während ich Pläne für die nächsten Wochen gemacht habe, habe ich überlegt, was ich im Frühling eigentlich am liebsten trage. Natürlich sollte man auf alle Wetterkapriolen eingestellt sein, von warmem Sonnenschein bis hin zu unerwarteten Regen- und Schneeschauern. Hier ist also meine Top 5 der Dinge, die ich im Frühling immer trage.

1 A light sweater
EN • In April one always should be prepared for sudden changes of weather. Therefore light sweaters definitely belong to my spring wardrobe.
DE • Da man sich auf das Wetter im April wirklich nicht verlassen kann, gehört ein leichter Strickpullover definitiv zu meinen 5 wichtigsten Teilen im Frühling.
2 A light coat
EN • Remember this post I shared last week? I talked about different versions to wear coats in spring and showed you some options how to combine them. So a light coat is definitely one of my favourite pieces in spring!
DE • Ich liebe es, im Frühling bunte Mäntel zu tragen. In einem meiner letzen Posts habe ich euch verschiedene Mäntel vorgestellt und gezeigt, wie ich sie am liebsten kombiniere. Deshalb gehört ein leichter Mantel definitiv auf die Liste.
3 Ankle pants
EN • After a long winter I love to wear pants that are a little bit shorter and show my ankles. I mostly combine them with a pair of kitten heels or platform sneakers.
DE • Ich finde Hosen die, über dem Knöchel enden super elegant. Am liebsten kombiniere ich sie mit Sneakers oder mit Sandalen, die einen kleinen Absatz haben.
4 a midi skirt
EN • There is no doubt that a skirt with a relaxed and loose fit belongs to my spring wardrobe. I wear it WITHOUT tights of course! Spring time is the time you can show your legs again… don’t forget to shave the winter fur off 😉
DE • Zweifellos gehört ein Rock mit entspannter und lockerer Passform zum meinen Must-Haves im Frühling. Ich trage ihn natürlich OHNE Strumpfhosen! Frühlingszeit ist die Zeit, in der man endlich die Beine wieder zeigen kann. Vergesst nicht, das Winterfell abzurasieren 😉
5 sunglasses
EN • Sunnies out! Those of you who visited my blog in the past know, that I LOVE to wear sunglasses. Especially when they match my outfit. To me there is no such thing as too many sunglasses. I always have a pair of sunglasses in my handbag, even if the weather is bad. You never know, if the sun is going to come out.
DE • Ohne eine Sonnenbrille würde sich meine Nase im Frühling wirklich nackt fühlen. Deshalb habe ich immer eine dabei, auch bei schlechtem Wetter, denn man weiß ja nie, ob die Sonne sich nicht doch noch einmal zeigt. Ich finde es immer toll, wenn meine Sonnenbrille auf mein Outfit abgestimmt ist. Deshalb besitze ich sie in allen Farben und Formen.

Yes spot on! Yesterday it got warm here in NY. I had on a heavy sweater and it was too warm. I need some light sweaters for sure. I don’t have to many. I love the one you are wearing in this post so pretty with the over-sized ruffles

So right. I find I wear a lot of sweaters and jackets in spring. As much as I want it to be warm sunny t-shirt weather, it’s really not.
I really want a nice midi skirt to add to my wardrobe- I know it’s a staple but I can’t seem to find one that looks good on me!
