Keep the Velvet Boots on!

EN • Good news spreads fast! Next week (on the 20th of March) it becomes official: Spring is on its way! Although it is hard to believe… in some places, it is still freeeeezing! Fortunately Barcelona does not belong to those places! Here we have sunny 18 degrees here, in my hometown in Germany however it has until now only 9 degrees. So it’s soon time to trade the warm winter coat for something lighter. But don’t rush! Of course, we should not banish all our winter coats immediately to the farthest corner of the basement (or wardrobe). Maybe there will be a few days where we still need them. Also, you do not have to ban all the winter pieces at once! I advise you, to keep the boots a little longer. In my case I decided for some baby blue velvet boots.

DE • Gute Nachrichten verbreiten sich schnell! Der Frühling kommt! Obwohl man es mancherorts gar nicht glauben mag. Hier in Barcelona hat es gerade sonnige 18 Grad, in meiner Heimatstadt in Deutschland hat es immerhin schon 9 Grad. Es ist also langsam Zeit, über einen Wechsel der Garderobe nachzudenken. Natürlich sollten wir die Wintermäntel nicht sofort in die hinterste Ecke des Kellers (oder Kleiderschrankes) verbannen. Es könnte durchaus sein, dass wir sie an dem ein oder anderen Tag noch einmal gut brauchen können.

Bottom Line

EN • Bottom line: Take out your light sweaters, dresses, t-shirts and combine them with your boots! But always have a summer coat or jacket with you, in case the next cloud comes.

DE • Unterm Strich heißt das also: Ihr könnt eure leichten Pullis, Kleidchen und T-Shirts schon mal raus holen! Trotzdem sollte man immer einen Sommermantel oder eine leichte “Übergangsjacke” wie z.B eine Lederjacke dabei haben. Nur für den Fall dass sich mal eine dreiste Wolke vor die Sonne schiebt!

DE • Eine meiner momentanen, liebsten Frühlingskombis ist leichtes Shirt, eine lange Hose und die Boots dazu. Alternativ kombiniere ich auch wirklich gerne ein Kleid mit diesen süßen Samtstiefeln.
