EN • Summer is here! The time of maxi dresses (read more about them here) , open-air concerts and garden parties has come. To keep all my essentials such as money, keys, ID, sunglasses or the “emergency make-up kit” together I love to wear small bags. The summer and the sun give me a feeling of easiness that quickly vanishes when my handbag is too bulky and heavy. So I decided to do a post on small bags: Why you should own them and what’s the benefit of having them.

DE • Der Sommer ist da! Die Zeit der Maxi-Kleider, Open-Air Konzerte und Gartenparties ist gekommen. Um unterwegs all meine wichtigsten Dinge wie Geld, Schlüssel, Ausweis, Sonnenbrille oder das “Notfall-Makeupset” zusammen zuhalten, kombiniere ich gerne kleine Handtaschen zu meinen Outfits. Der Sommer und die Sonne vermitteln mir ein Gefühl von Leichtigkeit und Unbeschwertheit, das schnell verfliegt wenn die Handtasche zu sperrig und schwer ist. Deshalb geht es im heutigen Post um keine Taschen, warum man welche besitzen sollte und wie man sie am besten kombiniert.

EN • I can’t say that I am a real bag addict, I have definitely more shoes than bags for every outfit. Nevertheless I appreciate it when my bag matches my outfit perfectly. Plus I am a girl that is into fashion and a bag belongs to an outfit like a fish belongs in the water.  Therefore I try to have small bags in different colors. It is of course more important to own bags in basic colors like brown, black, blue etc. However especially in summer I love to wear colored bags to make my outfit pop. DE • Ich würde von mir ganz und gar nicht behaupten, dass ich Taschensüchtig oder eine Taschensammlerin bin. Ich bin eher von der Schuh-Fraktion. Trotzdem liebe ich es, wenn meine Tasche perfekt zu meinem Outfit passt. Deshalb habe ich einige Taschen in den verschiedensten Farben. Natürlich ist es besser erstmal eine schöne Handtasche in einer klassischen Farbe wie schwarz, braun oder blau zu haben. Wenn man diesen Bereich abgedeckt hat kann man sich aber ruhig in die Welt der farbenfrohen Taschen wagen. EN • My collection of small bags has grown over the past years. It’s a health mix of new, more expensive ones and vintage bags I found on a flea market (or my granny gave them to me). It’s not important where you’ve got your bag from. Just make sure it fits with your look. Here are some favorite of me for the upcoming season:

DE • Ich habe meine Sammlung an kleinen Taschen bzw. Clutches Stück für Stück erweitert. Sie ist ein Mix aus verschiedensten Taschen. Manche davon waren Teuer und sind ganz neu, andere have ich vom Flohmarkt oder meiner Oma bekommen. Es ist nicht wichtig, woher eine Tasche ist. Sie sollte allerdings gut zu deinem Outfit passen.
