October Update

EN • October is here and it’s going to be a busy month. In the beginning of the month there is the German Oktoberfest in various cities. I decided to visit the traditional one in Munich and another big one in Stuttgart. I am going to do an extra post on Oktoberfest styles since I lately got carried away with the traditional clothing and the event itself.

In the middle of the month I am going to take a week off and fly to Madrid to meet a friend I haven’t seen in a while. I am super exited since this will be my first time in the city, of course I’ll do a post on this too!

Then there will be some time in-between and in the end of October I am going to have a mother-daughter getaway. We plan on visiting either Barcelona or Lisbon. Haven’t decided yet where to go. I know Barcelona very well, so I’d be the perfect tour guide. On the other hand, I’ve never been to Lisbon, and from pictures I can tell it be definitely worth a trip! What do you guys think?

Lastly,I have to figure out when I am going to have the defence for my master thesis. The research I started, about Instagram and social media became much bigger and relevant than I could have dreamt of.

Oktober Pläne

DE  • Der Oktober ist da und ich habe ihn schon wieder mit Plänen und Terminen vollgestopft. Vor kurzem war ich auf dem Oktoberfest in München und werde noch auf die Wasen nach Stuttgart gehen. Ich freue mich schon sehr darauf mich wieder in mein Dirndl werfen zu können. Bald wird es einen Post zum Thema Oktoberfest und allem was dazu gehört geben!

Mitte des Monats fliege ich nach Madrid um eine Freundin wieder zu treffen, die ich seit einem Jahr nicht mehr gesehen habe. Da ich noch nie in Madrid war freue ich mich sehr auf diesen Trip.

Dann bin ich mal eine Woche Zuhause in Deutschland und werde Ende Oktober einen Mutter-Tochter Urlaub in Barcelona oder Lissabon machen. Wir wissen noch nicht genau wo es hin gehen soll. Ich kenne mich in Barcelona super gut aus und wäre eine gute Fremdenführerin. Allerdings war ich selbst auch noch nie in Lissabon und würde die Stadt gerne mal kennen lernen. Was ist euer Favorit?

Letztendlich werde ich irgendwann zwischen drin auch noch meine Masterarbeit verteidigen. Ich habe in den letzen Monaten daran gearbeitet und die empirische Forschung zum Thema Influencer/Instagram wurde größer und umfangreicher als ich es mir habe träumen lassen. Eventuell wird das Werk sogar auf einer Konferenz für Nach-wuchswissenschaftler vorgestellt. Das wäre natürlich der Wahnsinn und bleibt abzuwarten!

EN • Let’s talk fashion now! Matching the golden season, I was wearing this yellow maxi dress lately. I love this dress since it is a very elegant and versatile piece. Depending on the situation, you can up- or downgrade it. When wearing it with sandals it’s a quite casual outfit. This time, I combined it with golden high heels, golden earrings and dark sunglasses.

DE  • Passend zur “goldenen Jahreszeit” habe ich dieses sonnengelbe Maxikleid getragen. Vor allem die transparenten Details haben es mir angetan! Dieses Kleid ist super vielseitig. Wenn man es einfach mit Sandalen kombiniert,lässt sich wunderbar ein lässiger Look zaubern. Kombiniert man es (wie ich auf den Bildern) mit goldenen Highheels und goldenen Ohrringen wird es schnell zum super eleganten Outfit.
