EN • Quarantine hit us hard. In my recent posts I talked about  30 things to do while quarantined at home. It’s been 5 weeks now and home office keeps me busy so far. After work I play my favourite game. It’s called “staycation”. All you have to do is hang out on the terrace, take a sunbath, read a book or take a nap. The most important detail about this game is to pretend you are on vacation! To make sure this game is as much fun for you as it is for me, I have some great tips on how you can spend a perfect staycation at home and still make it feel like you are at the beach.

Es sind nun 5 Wochen und ich muss gestehen, das Homeoffice macht mir langsam etwas zu schaffen. Nach der Arbeit spiele ich allerdings immer mein Lieblingsspiel: “Urlaub auf Balkonien”. Dazu muss man nichts weiter tun, als in der Sonne zu liegen, zu dösen oder ein Buch zu lesen. Dabei ist es wichtig, dass man sich völlig entspannt, einfach mal alle Sorgen beiseitelässt und so tut, als wäre man im Urlaub am Strand.

A very, very good book

EN • Picture this: while having a perfect staycation you lay in the sun on a sunbed and read a book. Your eyes become more and more tired and as you want to … you fall asleep. This has happened to me about a hundred times and is the embodiment of relaxation.

EN • We talked about this before! remember last year when I published this post about why you have to protect your skin with sunscreen?  Back then I told you about sun ageing, sunburn and so on. So I won’t do this again.. but let me just say: If you love your skin and youthfulness, don’t go without sunscreen.
