EN • Summer is here and I’m just on the way back from Barcelona to Germany. In my mind I go back to all the moments I spent at the Mediterranean and the beautiful rooftop pool in our small hotel. Here in Germany, it’s super hot and it’s just too much fun to spend time in the water. Before we spend time at the lake, beach or  pool we should check again, if our bikini wardrobe is still up to date. That’s why this post is about my absolute favourites of all the elegant bikinis and swimsuits.
DE • Ich  bin gerade auf dem Rückweg von Barcelona nach Deutschland und gehe in Gedanken nochmal zurück an das Mittelmeer und den wunderschönen Pool in unserem Hotel. Hier in Deutschland ist es aber auch super heiß, und egal ob wir uns am See, im Schwimmbad oder im Meer abkühlen: der Bikini darf auf keinen Fall fehlen! Deshalb geht es in diesem Post um meine absoluten Lieblingsbikinis und Badeanzüge.
My favourite elegant bikinis this season
All about strappy details
EN • I love bikinis and swimsuits that have special strap details, for example various straps. Also braided patterns add a lot of elegance to a monochromatic bikini.
DE • Ich liebe Bikinis mit besonderen Trägern. Verspielte Details oder mehre Träger sehen bei einfarbiger Bademode super elegant aus und verleihen dem Look das gewisse Etwas.
super elegant cut outs
EN • Another super elegant bikini I really like to wear is a “hybrid” between bikini and swimsuit. You could also call it a monokini or a swimsuit that’s missing a few pieces. Sassy cut-outs here and there are definitely an eye-catcher.
DE • Eine andere Variante, die ich wirklich gerne trage, ist ein Zwischending zwischen Bikini und Badeanzug. Man könnte es auch als Monokini bezeichnen, also als Badeanzug, bei dem ein paar Stellen Stoff fehlen. Freche cut-outs hier und da sind auf jeden Fall ein Hingucker.
romantic ruffles to love
EN • I just love ruffles! Not only on dresses, skirts or tops. Ruffles look also super cute and add a playful touch to a bikini or swimsuit. Therefore they definitely belong on this list of elegant bikinis.
DE • Ich liebe Rüschen einfach! Sie sehen nicht nur an Kleidern, Röcken oder Tops süß aus. Rüschen verleihen auch Bikinis und Badeanzügen einen verspielten Touch.
a classy low-cut back
EN • The saying “less is more” definitely applies to this version of my favourite elegant bikinis. You’ll always look classy wearing a glamorous black or white halter neck swimsuit with a low-cut back.
DE • Der Ausdruck “weniger ist mehr” kommt bei dieser Version auf jeden Fall zum Tragen. Ein klassischer Badeanzug mit tiefem Rückenausschnitt ist auf jeden Fall eine elegante Variante.
