EN • Oh dear! We have seen this one everywhere this season: The polkadot! To be honest, I can’t get enough of it – it’s just too classy to get boring any time soon. I just loved the black and white combination of the polka dot culotte and the knitted cop top with the crossed back detail. With the formal leather bag and the golden details, this look is perfect for many occasions. I wore it for a tapas dinner with a friend in the city but I can imagine that it would be great as an office look too. What do you think?

DE • Meine Lieben! Heute geht es um einen absoluten Trend: Den Polkadot. Irgendwie kommt er alle Jahre wieder, wird aber nie langweilig da er einfach super elegant und klassisch ist. Ich habe meine Polka Dot Culotte mit einem eleganten, gestrickten crop-top, goldenen Statement-Ohrringen und hohen Sandalen kombiniert. Ich hatte das Outfit für ein Abendessen mit einer Freundin an, kann mir das ganze als Büro-Look aber auch gut vorstellen!

DE •Diese Bilder wurden übrigens mit meiner neuen Kamera gemacht. Es hat wirklich lange gedauert, bis ich mich für eine Kamera entschieden habe. Um mehr Infos zu sammeln habe ich natürlich auch auf anderen Blogs umgeschaut. Den Artikel “The Ultimative Camera Guide” auf NotJessFashion kann ich jedem, der sich für das Thema interessiert sehr empfehlen! Natürlich kann ich mein Equipment mit der Zeit noch aufrüsten. Für den Anfang bin ich allerdings mit dem 50mm 1.8 Objektiv super zufrieden. Im Moment genieße ich noch die Phase in der ich alle Features der Kamera kennen lerne. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert was sie alles kann! Zum Beispiel kann ich von der Kamera Bilder direkt aufs Handy schicken. Außerdem können persönliche Gesichtseinstellungen gespeichert werden: So findet die Kamera dann sogar in einer Menschenmenge mein Gesicht und stellt es scharf!

EN • Btw, I am shot this look with my new camera! It took me forever to decide on which one would be best for my purposes. So I read many articles (the most helpful read was the ultimative camera guide on NotJessFashion) and youtube videos and ended up buying a Sony A7rII. I am so so happy that I have it, cause it just takes awesome pictures. Of course I always can improve my gear by buying some extra lenses, but the 50mm I used for this shooting is just fine for the beginning. At the moment I am really enjoying the process of finding out about all the amazing features the camera has. – Can you believe that I can send pictures from my camera to my smartphone now or that it has personalized facial recognition, so it can find my face in a crowd? … I am blown away!
