EN • Fall is here and we find ourself unpacking our coats, boots, scarves and gloves while storing away our shorts, bikinis and crop tops. As the summer is over and the days become more chilly. It’s always tempting to wear dark colours in autumn and winter such as black, dark brown or dark blue. However I want to preserve the light of the summer a little longer. So today I am posting an elegant, monochromatic autumn outfit with golden details that reminds me of the warm sunlight in October.
DE • Der Herbst ist nun wirklich angekommen und während wir uns inmitten von Mänteln, Stiefeln und Socken wiederfinden, packen wir schweren Herzens unsere Sommersachen weg. Stück für Stück verschwinden Badeanzüge, kurze Hosen und bauchfreie Oberteile in den Kisten. Die Tage werden immer kürzer und kälter. Dabei ist es immer eine Versuchung sich dementsprechend dunkel in schwarz, dunkelbraun oder dunkelblau zu kleiden. Allerdings möchte ich die Leichtigkeit des Sommers noch ein bisschen beibehalten. Deshalb gibt es von mit heute einen hellen Herbstlook.
Monochromatic Autumn Outfit
EN • When wearing monochromatic outfits, pattern and fabric matter A LOT. Dependent on the pattern mix and the choice of fabric, the outfit looks either elegant or cheap. So for my autumn look I decided to choose a delicate, knitted top and beige silk pants combined with repeating golden details in the shoes and the jewellery.
DE • Bei der Zusammenstellung von einfarbigen Outfits finde ich die Kombination der richtigen Stoffe am Wichtigsten. Je nachdem welche Muster und Stoffe man wählt, kann das Outfit entweder super elegant oder einfach nur billig aussehen. Für meinen braunen Herbstlook habe ich ein feingestricktes, hellbraunes Oberteil mit einer Seidenhose kombiniert und dazu goldene Akzente die sich im Schmuck und den Schuhen wiederholen, gewählt.
