EN • Now there are only 4 days left of this year 2020. As we wave the old year goodbye, we look forward to the new year 2021 full of hope. It was an unexpected year, full of ups and downs. Even if many say that 2020 was a “lost” year, I don’t see it that way. To me it was a year full of change. We had time to reflect on the important things in life and to plan changes. I am looking forward to a new, exciting year. Starting the new year always feels special – an occasion to wear something special, something sparkly, something sequin.
DE • Nun sind nur noch 4 Tage von diesem Jahr 2020 übrig. Während wir das alte Jahr verabschieden, blicken wir hoffnungsvoll dem neuen Jahr 2021 entgegen. Es war ein unerwartetes Jahr, voller Höhen und Tiefen. Auch wenn viele sagen, dass 2020 ein “verlorenes” Jahr war, sehe ich das anders. Für mich war es ein Jahr voller Wandel. Wir hatten viel Zeit zu reflektieren, uns neu auszurichten und Änderungen vorzunehmen. Natürlich freue ich mich darauf, ein neues Jahr zu beginnen. Der Start eines neuen Jahres ist immer ein Grund zum feiern – eine Gelegenheit etwas besonderes, glitzerndes (am besten aus etwas pailettenbesetztes) zu tragen.

EN • The sequin dress is a real classic for new year celebrations and in my opinion always the right fit. I wore this colourful dress last year for new year. You can find sequin dresses in all different colours and shapes and new year is definitely the right. No matter if you go for a dinner night out, a party (very unlikely this year) or a small event with the loved ones at home.

DE • Es gibt nicht wirklich viele Gelegenheiten einen kompletten Pailettenanzug zu tragen. Allerdings ist Silvester definitiv einer dieser Momente. Ich persönlich finde, der Anzug ist eine tolle Alternative zum Kleid. Welche Version würdet ihr lieber tragen?

EN • I wore this sequin blazer to celebrate the end of 2019 in Paris. For those of you who want to keep it more low key, the sequin blazer. You can combine it with everything. An elegant black dress, a skirt or even make it street style by combining it with a denim. That way we can enjoy our very own Gossip Girl moment.
DE • 2019 habe ich zu Silvester in Paris diesen Pailettenblazer getragen. Für alle die nicht ganz so heftig krachen lassen wollen, ist ein Pailettenblazer die “low-key” Variante. Man kann ihn ganz einfach auf ein elegantes, schwarzes Kleid, zu einem Rock oder sogar später im Alltag zu einer Jeans stylen, wie z.B Serena in Gossip Girl.
