EN • Last weekend I wore this blue and white outfit and when I was about to post it, I realised, that it was not the first time I chose this color combination. In fact, I seem to wear blue and white outfits over and over again. You can view some looks I wore in the past here and here. I came to the conclusion, that I should make a tradition out of posting a blue and white look every year. We’ll see how that goes! Now you may ask yourself, what I love about the white-blue combination so much. I’m going to explain it to you in this post!

EN • I love the white and blue combination so much cause it is perfect for spring and sunny weather. This color combination sends all the right, light vibes. Of course you can create similar outfits that have the same effect if you just follow these 3 simple tips.
DE • Ich mag die weiß-blaue Kombination so gerne weil sie wirklich perfekt für den Frühling ist. Ich man kann sie casual aber auch chic stylen und ist mit dieser Farbkombi gut auf die sonnigen Tage vorbereitet. Natürlich kann man ähnliche Effekte mit anderen Farbkombinationen erzielen, wenn man nur diesen 3 “Grundregeln” folgt.
Wear pale colors
EN • In spring, the nature inspires us with all the different colours it has to offer. The skies are blue again, white soft clouds show and the trees are in full bloom. Everywhere you see bright pink, yellow and red.
Following this example I love to pick pale colors such as white, pastel blue, pink or yellow.
DE • Im Frühling inspiriert uns die Natur mit einer unglaublichen Farbenpracht. Der Himmel ist wieder so wunderschön blau, mit weißen Wölkchen und die Bäume blühen so wunderschön. Überall sieht man rosa, gelb und rot.
Daran nehme ich mir gerne ein Beispiel. Deshalb gehören genau diese Farben in diese Frühlingsgarderobe.
Wear lightweight fabrics
EN • Fabrics such as chiffon, silk, or linen have the advantage that they feel incredibly soft and light on the skin. On top of that, these fabrics always look elegant and add a feminine touch to every spring look.
DE • Stoffe wie Chiffon, Seide und Leinen haben den Vorteil, dass sie sich unglaublich leicht anfühlen. Das ist vor allem bei warmen Temperaturen besonders angenehm. Außerdem sehen solche Stoffe immer sehr elegant aus und eignen sich somit perfekt für den Frühling.
Avoid black
EN • To me outfits without black are always a win. Don’t get me wrong, I love black and have soo many black pieces but especially in spring I try to avoid to wear the “filler” black.
DE • Ich finde Outfits die ganz ohne Schwarz auskommen, immer sehr schön. Versteht mich nicht falsch, ich liebe schwarze Kleidungsstücke allerdings versuche ich besonders im Frühling den “Lückenbüßer” Schwarz zu meiden.
